Hello for Reinitialization, How mwny Grid cells do we need? (10 grid cells or more?)

Does any convergence criteria exist for reinitilization equation? (phi)t+sign(phi0)(1-grad(phi))=0 when do we get the steady state solution for this Eq? How many iterations do we need?
