Spacing od DES

Dear all,

i am learning DES (Detached Eddy Simulation). In order to save the grids, it's better to use DES with large spacing in streamwise and spanwise, (Please correct me if I was wrong), to control this effect, do you always use structured grids near the surface.

Well, I am using structured grids near the surface and unstructured mesh away from the surface of the obstacle, but I am not sure whether it is a good idea...

Any hints? Thanks in advance.

Regards, \Daniel
