Coupling inlet and outlets massfluxes in an enclosed circulation system

Dear,

I am currently modelling the distribution of oxygen and carbon dioxide gas in a storage container for fruit.

Inside the storage container there is a pile of fruits. Also, there is a tubing system with an inlet and two outlets. The inlet is provided with a fan which sucks air inside the tubing system. The two outlets are positioned in the corners of the container to spread out the air.

Modeling regarding velocity:
Air speed at the inlet was measured experimentally and is specified at the inlet face of the tubing system to be x m s^-1. At each of the outlets, the mass flow rate of the container atmosphere is defined as massFlow()@Inlet/2. Which seems to work properly. The problem arises when modelling the mass transfer.

Modelling of the mass transfer:
At the inlet (=outlet in the model, since it is an outlet to my system), there is no need to specify the AV value or something about it, since CFX will just calculate it. The outlets are more difficult. What I actually want is to specify the mass flux for each of my additional variables at each of the outlets to be half of the mass flux that goes into the tubing system. However, I'm not able to find such an option in ANSYS 16.2 CFX module. I have tried to set the value of the AV's to the area average of the AV at the inlet using areAve(AV)@Inlet but this is not correct to do so. So what I am wondering is if anybody knows how to access or specify the massflux in CFX?

Looking forward to your reply!

Kind regards,
Niels

Doe anybody have an idea if it is possible to specify cyclic massflux boundary condition in ANSYS CFX? In comsol it is possible. If not possible, does anybody have some experience writing some fortran routine for it?

Kind regards,
Niels
