Is there free Fluid Structure Interaction solution

Hi, everybody, I am doing a research about adaptive compliant wing, it's essential to get a reasonable FSI prediction. FEM is done through abaqus, CFD is through Starcd or Star ccm+, Is there any possible to find a free FSI solution tool? It's very strange that cdaj, sales agent of MPCCI in china, don't offer even a free trial, so please give a free advice.

Try FreeFem++

<www.freefem.org>

It's a wonderful free platform, offering both 2d & 3d.

Yes - try OpenFOAM. You can see some examples in my slides on

http://powerlab.fsb.hr/ped/kturbo/Op..._14Jun2007.pdf

and other presentations, especially University College Dublin:

Enjoy,

Thank you very much, momentum and Hrvoje, and I will have a try soon. Sorry that openfoam couldn't be running on MS windows system.

OpenFOAM solvers and utilities can run as native applications under MS Windows, if you have access to a Linux machine as a host for a MinGW cross-compiler. For details try: http://www.symscape.com/openfoam-1-5-x-on-windows
