Re: Validation of blood flow code in a tube

Momentum waves are not pressure waves... It seems to be a momentum-transfer mechanism that occurs at low speeds - a knock-on effect, if you will. Momentum-driven pulses can carry very nicely on a bulk flow.

Hello Vasilis,

it is a very intersting topic for me - did you already validate the blood flow code in a tube? I am a student and i would like to simulate the blood flow in an aorta as part of a student project.

Would it be possible to send some information about your solver to my email adress?

thank you
