Entropy wave
Hello,
I'm writing a student thesis on CFD at the moment. Could someone please explain me why the first root of the characteristic form of the linear Euler-equations, W = rho - p / c^2 is called "entropy wave". Thanks |
Re: Entropy wave
In my understanding it is because the speed of sound is based on the definition of change in pressure w.r.t. change in density at constant entropy
