How can we use fluent to simulate Rayleigh Taylor instability for density D1, Density D2, Viscosity V1 and viscosity v2 of two fluid layers as input. Can someone please help me out.

could anyone please refer me some tutorial or book for that.

Thanking You kamal

you might try using the mixture-multiphase problem in Fluent. If you have access to their tutorials you can download that one. I have done mixing problems with two different fluids in Fluent, but I don't know if that will help with your Rayleigh Taylor problem.

have a look at

http://gfs.sourceforge.net/examples/.../rt.html#htoc5

there they simulate the gravity driven RT-instability with the VOF-Model (although different code). So I think this could also be an appropriate choice.
