Dear all,

I have used a predictor corrector method to solve unsteady two coupled energy equations, discretised with an implicit scheme.

Actually, the solution converge to steady state when the total time is high enough, but the problem is that the temperature distribution differs when I change the time step!

for example for the same total time of 1000sec, I have different results for a time step=1; 10; 100. with a relative difference of about 0.3-8% from dt=1 to dt=100.

Is the explicit predictor corrector method affecting the stability of the implicit scheme?

Thanks in advance.
