Default Ansys ISEM CFD 11.0 SP1
Posts: n/a
Hello I am a PhD Student and i wanna simulate the flow of 2 components (air and solid) in a warm tube. i wanna investigate the thermal transfer, the velocity profile and the orbit of the solid particles. I am new on cfd programs. I start working with Ansys ISEM CFD 11.0 SP1. Do you think that this program is appropriate for what i want to do? In addition, could you please tell me where i can find Flow Simulation Tutorials?? Thank you in advance Panagiotis

ICEM is a meshing package and not a CFD solver. You probably need ANSYS CFX or Fluent to run the simulation, once you have built your mesh.

ICEM-Hexa would be a good tool to build the mesh of the pipe.
