Hi John,

the contact angle depends on used material and surface stucture. You can only meassure these data for your case. Look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contact_angle for further information.

Hi Frank Weise. Thank you very much. But I do not have any data. Is it possible to get contact angle based on material. I need contact angle for Water, glass, air. Infact, I have 0.1 mm gap between two slides and I have to model capilary. I have been using water-air mixture. i have also one doubt.-->>>Do I need to know contact angle for all materials? Thanks again.

You have only one contact angle for these 3 elements. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capillary_action

Hi Frank Weise,

Thank you very much. SO, does that mean I need to define only single contact angle? And If I am not wrong then, this should define at wall BC. Am I right?? Kindly correct me, if I am wrong. Please, also let me know, does that mean, contact anlge does not depend on volume fraction. Its a material property.
