Node-dependent Surface Temperature Fluctuations

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the surface temperatures on the blunt nose of a supersonic vehicle. I'm working with a wedge of an axisymmetric body, using axisymmetry boundary conditions. The surface temperatures along the axisymmetry boundary conditions exhibit and alternating node dependence (this is a node-based solver). For example, one node along the BC is very hot, the next is hot, and then the next is very hot again. And this repeats along the blunt nose. The wall is no-slip. And I am using radiative-convective equilibrium. The temperature variations are nonphysical for the problem and completely node related. Any info or recommendations would be great. Thanks!

Peter

Some more info which may be pertinent:
This is an unstructured mesh.
I am using a Roe scheme

It looks like odd-even decoupling, but I've only heard of that occurring on structured grids with CDS...

Has anyone seen anything like this before, and how might I get around it?
