i am doing gasification cfd

my gasification medium is steam (primary phase) NO AIR.

i use biomas+cao+sand as secondary phases


IF I PATCH SECONDARY PHASES... the remaining whole space is initialised with steam above the bed.

how can i solve this issue?
can i add air as secondary phase .. and patch that with remaining space? if so what should i give diameter for air?
