Hello foamers!
Greetings I am quite new to OF. Trying to learn it from last 2 months, I know that convective heat flux boundary condition (BC) can be implemented using externalWallHeatFluxTemperature BC but in my problem there is heat loss due to radiation also. I would be very grateful if anyone can help me out about the BC which will incorporate both convective and radiative heat losses from a same wall. Regards, Prateek. Hello Again,
I would be highly obliged to get a reply on this as my work is struck because of it. Is this even possible to have both convective and radiative BC on a same wall? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Regards, Singh. |

Hey Hello Once Again,
Feels funny to talk to myself ![]() But I have decided to use the GROOVY BC for this Case.. "type groovyBC; variables "h=XYZ;k=XYZ';sigma=5.6e-7;E=XYZ";Tinf=XYZ"';"; gradientExpression "h/k*(T-Tinf)+(sigma/k)*E*(T-Tinf)*(T-Tinf)*(T-Tinf)*(T-Tinf)"; fractionExpression "0"; " USE SMALL TIME STEPS! Regards, Singh. |
