Academic test case for turbulent time and length scale

Hi,

I have a tool using two point correlation to calculate turbulent time and length scale based on LES data. Is there a simple academic testcase to test this tool?

On cfd-wiki I found that turbulent length scale = 0.038 hydraulic diameter in a fully developped pipe flow, but there is no reference.

Is there a typical / simple test case?

Thanks in advance!
