Hi
I want to model Lift and Drag of RC propellers (Dia approx 15-20 ") and speed is around 2000-3000 rpm This would imply a tip speed of about 25 m/s. So i think an incompressible flow solver would be ideal for the job. Which free/open-source tool do you guys recommend ? Most of these propellers have a cross-section like a flat plate. And the main parameters that describe the geometry would be twist (pitch distribution) and chord distribution. If you could provide some information on tools to measure the geometry and recreate that in the solver, that would be appreciated |
