denebthera is on a distinguished road
I am a physical chemist and fluid flow neophyte, so please pardon any naivety. I have a few fluid flow conditions and geometries that I would like to model. The model would be steady state, incompressible, radially symmetric (so potentially 2D), and seemingly laminar. The only rub I can see is that the flow narrows by a factor of about 40 by diameter (so perhaps the mesh is complicated). I'm looking for a simple way to solve and visualize the flow. Since I only have a few conditions to model, it doesn't make sense for me to buy/learn a complex package. This strikes me as something potentially simple for a pro but difficult for a person like me who understands the principles but has no experience with CFD. Thank you for your kind suggestions on how I might approach this!
