finite volume method for CFD analysis of 2D blunt body

We are a group of 3 undergraduate students of Mechanical Engg.studying in India. We are newcommers in the field of CFD, and are doing work in this field for the first time. We have understood the finite difference approach, butwe want to proceed with finite volume method, for the project which we have undertaken. We are trying to analyse a blunt body in the hypersonic flow field, without much consideration for the accuracy. We have no idea of this finite volume approach .Would somebody kindly guide us on this matter, and explain the concept?

Hello I am the one who interested in FVM. But I'm the beginner too. Anyway, Do you read Versteeg's textbook on FVM? I think it's very good. It explains every concept of FVM.

Hope it usefull for all of you. BYE
