hi,
there is a very simple cubic geometry which has square inlets and outlets on some of its faces. its meshed without any problem. but when the inlets and outlets are specified with "name selections" mesh couldnt update itself properly! the error is: "The following entities with objects scoped to them were unable to have mesh data correctly associated with them. Try removing the object scoped to these entities or try another mesh method to get a successful mesh." and "A mesh could not be generated using the current meshing options and settings. Hint: The problem geometry areas might have been highlighted. Switching to wireframe mode may make them more visible." there is no highlighted area for the failure but the whole solid! i tried several other mesh approaches but couldnt find a proper solution. can anyone help please?? thanks, yuy |
