free GUI based CFD software

Hi,

I want to try out a microfluidic design idea for which I am looking for a FREE software simulator. From what i read, i gather that in order to simulate I need to create a geomerty first, then create a Mesh, Then solve the Mesh using software program, and then view the results using a visualization software.

OpenFOAM has this functionalities. However, its not very user friendly and I am not very good at writing commands and codes. Also, I believe a different software is required for every step in OpenFoam.. .. Salome- for geometry, OpenFoam-for calulation, Paraview- for visualization are the three softwares that I to use.

Are there any FREE GUI based software out there where i dont have to write all the commands and all the functionalities are built into one like COMSOL OR FLOW3D.... (unfortunately they are commercially available softwares and very heavily priced for individual enthusiast.)

what about simFlow or CFD ACE+ ??

please let me know....

Thanks
Deval Vyas

Try Code Saturne

http://code-saturne.org/cms/

You will still need to use a separate package for meshing, but this gives you a full GUI for the CFD and visualization results.
