Hello, i'm an udergraduate student in Seoul.
Before beginning, please excuse me of my poor English(i'm not good at English at all)

recently i started to use 'Star ccm+' for my graduation assignment.
my topic is 'Double Skin facade system' and i designed a model of the room for comparison( a living room , which has inside sliding window, balcony of 30cm width and outside window. )

then, i simplified that model into Star ccm+ CAD model which has walls and windows without thickness( i represented those as 'sheets')

at first, i made it as a room with an ostide window('body2' in the cpature file 'model1') and a seperate inside window('body9').
i tried to volume mesh th 'model1' but as you can see in the capture files
('model1-1,2' ) the simulation program didn't seem to recognize the
inside window('body 9') and i cannot find any trace of 'meshing' on the surface of 'body9'!

so i tried another model('model2-2' the attatched capture file).
i made it as two boxes ('body18', the room space, and 'body26', the bacony space.) . those two bodies respectively have a face that is same for each others'.( You can see same parts 'win1', 'win1op1' and 'win1op2' in both 'body 18' and 'body26' in the capture file 'm2-..')
Ofcourse i attempted to volume mesh this second model.
however, in thistime, 'self- intersection' error meesage comes out.

How can I deal with this situation?
Please give me some advice to me. I don't have enought time for due date
and no peers who can help me about this problem...
