Dear all,

I would like to make a comparison for cooling techniques of heated surfaces using DPM.

I am planning to inject particles from a surfaces and particles will travel through a hole and then expand in a chamber until they arrive to the heated surface.

How can I make the difference between jet and spray cooling techniques?

I mean, if nozzle diameter is fixed, the difference between jet and spray will be the particle diameter? (let's say particle 1e.-04 m means jet and 1e-09 m means spray?) Or is it something more related to the diameter of the nozzle? (let's say nozzle diameter of 5 mm means jet flow and nozzle diameter of 0.001 mm means spray flow)

I cannot understand how clearly establish this difference.

Thanks in advance
