Blocking idealization - Sketces.

Hi,

I'm about to make a mesh for a wing profile and I would like your advice on the blocking. Here is a sketch from Matlab which I will export to DAT files. (Easyer to modify in Matlab and Farfield Scaled down)

The wing has a blunt edge as seen in figure 1.

Figure 1: Airfoil with a skewed blunt edge.

I created a C shaped grid (see Figure 2), projected to be parallel to the blunt edge. Then I have 100% Orthogonality right to the airfoil.

Figure 2: C-Shaped Farfield, projected parallel to blunt edge.

Now I'm not sure what is the best strategy of blocking. In figure 3 I sketched what I've been thinking. But not sure if this is the best way doing it.

I'm not sure if I need the extra OGRID around the wing since I will match the mesh parameters of all edges. Yet I see it used in most of the tutorials I've seen. Any comments? Fell free to save down figure 2 and sketch your vision of blocking.

Thanks in advance,
