variable heat flux as boundary conditions at a trapezoidal receiver in a CSP plant
Hello everybody,
I'm PhD student and i'm looking for temperature distribution on my trapezoidal receiver for Linear Fresnel Mirrors. Using Tonatiuh and Mathematica, i obtained heat flux distribution (W/m2) and now i'm using Comsol to find temperature distribution. The heat flux is not constant so i'm asking you how can i use my variable heat flux in boundary conditions. I thank you in advance for attention you will give to my message. In conclusion, i have variable heat flux boundary conditions. |
The heat flux should be expressed as a function of location i.e.
h=f(x,y,z) You should then enter this function as the boundary condition under the right domain, instead of using a fixed value. You must know the ANSYS CFX syntax to be able to translate the actual function in to something that is understandable by ANSYS. |
Thank you meusha for your help.
I think it's exactly what i have to do. I'm looking for this function but considering the angle (teta), because my heat flux varies as a function of it. I'll define angle= f(x,y) in the variables icon so the software can recognize teta. Thank you again for your response and for the importance that you gave to my message |
