Hi,

I would like to know if anyone can help, how is compressible wall function need to be implemented in a CFD code with Spalart Allmaras turbulent model.

A few question apart from any other help anyone can offer in this regard are: I am trying to implement the Enhanced wall function as given in fluent manual https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Flu...ug/node514.htm

1. The van-Driest transformation is applicable only to log region or even in viscous sub region?

2. The temperature law of wall has a term q. Does this q is only wall heat flux or wall heat flux combined with viscous heating term (tau_w * V).

3. The value of dynamic viscosity, thermal conductivity required for calculating terms like y_plus, Pr, etc.. is to be taken at wall or at first cell near the wall.

Any help even if any one has a thesis doing the similar thing will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.
