How to calculate turbulent kinetic energy at first grid point in SST k-o

Dear CFD user,

I am making the SST k-o code by fortran. As from the Menter's paper, the omega value at first grid point is automatically blending between log-layer and viscous layer. Similar is for the friction velocity. However, there is no definition for (k).
I think that the value of k is directly get from solving the k equation at the first grid from wall. In that the production term in k equation is modified with the wall shear stress, that is calculated by the friction velocity above (tau_w=rho*u_friction^2) . Then the turbulent viscosity is calculated in whose domain as the equation suggested by Menter.

What do I think correctly? Could you please give me the explaintion in this problem?

It is like this, you can see Automatic wall treatment https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Near...k-omega_models .
