Does anyone have any insight on the physics behind the so called Ludwig-Soret effect or thermo-diffusion effect? I am interested in the aspect of thermomolecular pressure differences pertaing to an ideal gas. I need to understand this effect at the molecular level. If anyone knows please respond. Thank you.

Sincerely, Chuck
