Mesh generation for 3d airfoil woth serrations

3 Attachment(s)
M planning to analyze 3d airfoil with trailing edge serrations.but the problem is m not much familiar with the mesh generation techniques and which mesh should i use. The simulation will be for low subsonic flows.
I actually watched some tutorials for icem cfd but i didnt get much imformation which can help me.

So, Can anyone tell me how should i approch this problem in order to get valid result.like what kind of mesh is required.?

Thanku

I am no meshing expert, but I can tell you that you've picked a challenging problem. I would mesh the top of the fluid serrations first (with triangles) and extrude them into wedges. That would fill all of the serrated flow volume. Then mesh the serrated solid surface also with triangles. Then try to mesh the normal surface of the wing with quads if possible. Then extrude all of those surfaces out to fill your flow domain with mixed hex/wedges. You should be able to control your mesh density well in the serrated flow area using triangles. Extruding those should give you good control of the boundary layer spacing. The same will be try extruding into the main flow area around the wing.

Good luck.
