Hi guys!
For external aerodynamics, if we are only interested of analyzing surface pressure, would it be enough to fine mesh the boundary layer? Beyond this zone is only freestream after all. It is easy to calculate this layer thickness. For the case I have (a 2m object at 60m/s), it's only 6mm. This could save a lot of cells! Thanks |
