Dear members. I am working on viscous flow around airfoils.
Since I am using wall functions for high Reynolds number, I want to keep my y+>30. I have used the following link to calculate my wall distance for my desired y+ value.

I was wondering if this is a right method to obtain desired y+ values.

Yes, it's a good place to start. Try it and see what the actual y+ is from the result. Then adjust your mesh sizes accordingly. You can also apply a factor of safety, e.g. multiply by 2 and target y+>60.
