Final Project Turbulen Flow

Good evening guys, next year I start my final project and I would like some ideas.

My goal is to work with turbulent flow, perhaps an analysis of some geometry or something. In this case, I want to create my program, either in C ++ or in Fortran. Do you guys have some idea about it?

Note: I have experience with subroutines in python and C ++, using the finite element method for structural analysis.

I'd recommend trying to write a 3-D solver using the SIMPLE method with Rhie-Chow interpolation for a co-located grid.
