when doing a simulation with the Large Eddy Simulation , should i do only an independence study of the grid or for the time step also ?

If you use an implicit filtering, by refining the spatial grid you cannot have convergence to a LES solution. As the time step is concerned, it is very small in LES, similarily to the DNS.
