Inverted cells with Kiva3

I am trying to create a mesh of a real diesel engine, with inlet ports, exhaust valve and bowl. The mesh created with k3prep looks fine, and k3prep does not report any inverted nor not-convex cells. When I start the simulation with kiva3, at the very beginning, I obtain a report of many non convex and inverted cells, which obviously stops the simulation. Which is the cause? Are there some general guidlines on how the kiva mesh should loock like?

I am sorry I can not help you with meshing. I thought that you have some problems in comiling the code which I may be able to solve. Sorry

KIVA-3V works with Multiblock structured volumetric meshes. I used ANSYS- ICEM to generate mesh grids for KIVA-3V |
