I saw on an early thread that CFL3D is available on github so I emailed Chris Rumsey the following question:
"It appears to be legit, but I just want to confirm with you that CFL3D is legally available to the general public through github for free?" and his reply was: "YES!" So, there you go, it's freely available. I never thought it would happen. In regards to overset grids, an interest of mine, I believe tools such as PEGASUS and FOMOCO are still not publicly available. I've never used CFL3D, so I don't know what overset tools are available in the distribution. The CFL3D website does mention a tool called Maggie, but I'm not sure how up-to-date, maintained, and/or documented it is. |
