Searching for validation case: Steel pipe abrasion by very fine particles

Hi all,

I've searched the validation pages of this site and others and was hoping someone on here could point me in a new direction; my previous search methods haven't turned up much.

I'm looking for a case/experiment/article/paper with which I can validate a CFD run. What I'm looking for is abrasion (very low angle impingement) rates in a steel pipe caused by particles on the order of 25 micron and below (i.e. very fine). Concentrations up to 30% by weight and a flow on the order of 5 m/s.

Hopefully someone knows of an article with relevant experimental results. I'm interested in anything that comes even remotely close to those values because that will help me on my way.

Do a journal article search of Prediction of Erosion Wear of Pipelines for Slurry Flow. There's some stuff out there from copper mines and oil sands. The tailings of a copper mine

A good start may be :
