How to define flow boundary inlet and outlet?

I have been coding a matlab streamfunction-vorticity program to answer the following question:

I have been using this site as a guide:

I have implemented the U1 and U2 boundary conditions from the question by modifying the lid driven cavity flow and have the following output:

How can I go about adding the flow input and output through the box? Do I need different equations to those in the link? How do I define where the outlet is without defining the velocity profile?

You have a wrong psi BC in the outlet, check it
