Hi,

I have been trying for sometime to model an aerfoil with a spoiler.

Most of the runs become unstable to simply breaks.

Can anyone advice me on what can I do to improve the stability of these runs given that I have separated flow. What mesh setting should I sue, turbulence modeling version or anything else that may help.

Many thanks

SST k-omega is usually a good choice for flows with adverse pressure gradients that cause separation. If you have a lot of separated flow, you might get better convergence and results by running a transient simulation and time-averaging your results.
