Steady state CFD in a solid - effect of Cp and density?
HI, by looking at the general energy conservation equation in CFD I conclude that the value of specific heat and density for a solid should not alter the steady state solution.
I want to confirm this from the experts here with experience - for solvers like AcuSolve which are pseudo-transient. Is the above statement valid for all CFD solvers? If not what might be the possible effects - solution time etc? |
