Hi every one
I am going to do a DNS simulation of a fixed droplet inside the channel with Phase Field method but i don't know how to keep the droplet fixed? does anyone have an idea or know a paper which is worked on the the droplet kept fixed? I appreciate your suggestions. Thanks |

Is it a horizontal or a vertical chanel?
For vertical i would know a possible solution.. But horizontal .. hmm |

thanks for your reply but i should use Phase field model to capture interface (actually i have a diffuse interface not sharp)

I dont understand your problem very well...
You have a diffusive droplet inside a horizontal chanel that needs to be fixed in position. Can you provide more information, is the interface tracked? Maybe a sketch can help For a VOF type simulation in a vertical pipe it would be essentially a controlling problem to keep the position at a fixed heigth.. Regards |

I don't understand you said the interfaces. |
