Pay as you go cloud based services with license for CFD Analysis

Hi Guys,
Are there any cloud based pay as you go cloud based services that come along with CFD licenses (ANSYS/ STAR CCM/ etc) that one can avail for practicing CFD analysis? What would be the costs one is looking at?

I would like to get up to speed with advanced working knowledge on software and tools practice and intend to practice. I have access to a lot of online study material but not to the software or have sufficient hardware. What could be my options?

Any info is useful

Thanks

Are you an independent freelancer or with an academic instituion? There are mad academic discounts for both Ansys and Star-CCM.

ANSYS has partnered with several cloud services. You should just contact ansys support for options.

Star-CCM I am not aware of cloud partners, but POD licensing lets you pay for # hours and then go.

If you are still practicing, I recommend to stick with a local PC and not do this cloud approach. The cloud doesn't help you learn anything directly, it just lets you compute some stuff.

I've simulated a rocket nozzle on a 1st generation i7 with only 4 cores. You just need to be a little stingy on your cell count and choose your problems wisely! Picking a complex geometry that results in ridiculously high cell count is not always the way to go. You can learn how to run very complex physics on a simple geometry and learn a lot faster. You don't learn while the computer is computing.

In the Azure Marketplace UberCloud has that for ANSYS software.

But how much do these cost?
