Stefan and Moving Boundary

Currently I am trying to develop a model to analyse the solidification process in continuous casting process. I am using Fastflo software (PDE Solver) which has the possibility to solve this problem. My question is: What is the best way for solving this Stefan problem in Finite Element method. There are only few information so far that I know which explain Stefan problem in FEM. Thanks.
