CFD in the C language

Hello, everyone! :D

I've just found cfd-online and the amount of enriching content here is amazing. So, at first, I would like to thank for the attention and perhaps for the contribution to this topic.

Well, right now i'm working on a relatively simple problem. It basically requires me to describe how to velocity field gradient behave as the viscosity of that fluid varies, given the situation attached on the image (2 parallel walls, the bottom one fixed, the upper moving with velocity u=V, assuming a steady state and laminar flow).

Basically, I must do a numerical analysis using, perhaps, iterative methods such as finite elements or finite volumes (without a great numerical accuracy), using the C language after solving the situation analytically (from the Navier-Stokes equations).

I'd really appreciate if anyone could contribute to this. Feel free to share any ideia that come up, it will definitely be helpful for me.

Thank you!
