I am actually comparing the wind effect of two building (Model A and Model B) with same plan area. Model A experiences more wind force (Drag force ) than Model B. But force coefficient for Model A is less as its projected area is also more.
Cf=F/(0.5*p*v^2*A) , Both F and A is high for model A and Cf is lesser. So what we can conclude?? Is comparing Cf and saying that model B has higher Cf so it experiences more wind load is correct ?? |
