Correct 'pitch' value to use in MISES

Hi everyone,
I have a question about the MISES code used for analyzing 2D cascades. My question regards the input blade.xxx to the ISET program.

I have defined my blade profile in xy cartesian coordinates, as the manual states: 'For 2-D cases, X, Y are just the Cartesian coordinates, in units of some arbitrary reference length Lref'. Is it fair to assume that the software will convert these into m'θ coordinates for me?

My main issue lies with the definition of pitch in the input file. I am attempting to replicate a blade stage that has 44 blades circumferentially, and the manual states that 'PITCH is the circumferential pitch of the cascade in radians = 2pi/(number of blades)'. However when I input the pitch value of 0.143 (2pi/44) the blades are overlaid on each other and the grid cannot be generated. I am required to use a pitch value of ~0.3 or higher before the grid can be properly generated, and even then the blades are much too close together (see attached image). Am I missing something?

Would appreciate if anyone could shed any light on this. I have attached the blade file used.

Thank you.
