Can anyone let me know if a code is available for designing a supersonic nozzle (convergent-divergent) for accelerating Helium to Mach 2 ? One based on the method of characterisitcs will be best suited i guess.

planar or axisymmetrical?

I have a code that uses the method of charateristics to design a nozzle (with uniform outflow). What is it worth to you?

thank you twister. though we are presently looking at planar flow situations we will be moving into axial geometreis as well. so anything that you can send will be of much help.

Hi,

Does anybody have a Matlab code for MOC contour design of an axisymmetric supersonic (Mach 2) nozzle they could send me? Or know where I could get one?

Thanks in advance,
Logan

I need a code for designing a diverging section of a 2-D and 3-D supersonic nozzle and being able to plot it with different numbers of points using methods of charecteristics, please email and let me know if there is a way to get this.
Thanks

Hi guys,

I need to design a nozzle to deliver a set amount of thrust. Apparently I need some kind of code to help me find the nozzle geometry and im drawing a blank.

Does anyone have any code that could help?

Cheers

Brett

Does anybody here have a Fortran code for Quasi-One-Dimensional Nozzle Flows?
