heat transfer from hot gas flow to solid

I want to model the temperature increase within a gun's muzzle device due to the flow of the hot propellant gases after a projectile is fired. The gas flow will be transient. I have used ANSYS for structural analyses and for CFD analysis of flow around a projectile to evaluate aerodynamic coefficients, but not for heat transfer into a 3D body within a hot gas flow. What would be the best software approach to solve this problem? Fluent, CFX, or ?? I already have the 3D model of the muzzle device and for the end result I want the temperature profile throughout the 3D solid, not just a surface temperature. Thanks.

Fluent and CFX both work. Use whichever you prefer. Preferably, use the same program that you used for the aero analysis.
