Hi everyone !

I am studying the turbulent flow in a parallel plate channel equipped with staggered ribs. The shape of the ribs is trapezoidal, but front and rear edges are rounded (see attachment).

I kindly ask you if someone could help me with some references that could indicate a correlation to compute Nu number in this particular geometry. All the refereces I've read are about square channel ( and not parallel plates ).

In particular, I've seen in the available Nu correlations for square channels I have to use hydraulic diameter, that for a parallel plate could be computed as 2H. May be a reasonable assumption?

Thank you for your attention

Check a letter published by Foroozani et al. (2019) on Physics E. She has done some work on RBC with grooves.

Thank you for your answer Santiago, but it's not the geometry I am looking for
I am still looking for a reference in which someone has did a similar study, in order to validate my results.
