I am trying to do Sox reduction using sea water for the marine exhaust gas system.(exhaust gas enters through the domain tangentially with high temperature 623k and cold water 293k is sprayed inside the domain for sox reduction) in ansys fluent.
MY DOMAIN CONDITION: 1. i am creating species transport model for the exhaust gas inlet with O2,n2,co2,h20,so2 and i gave their mass fraction in the boundary condition. 2. i created DPM model(cone injection) for the water spray inside the domain. I have the following doubts. 1. what kind of reaction i have to use to enable the reaction between water and So2.(I need to monitor the PH value) 2.does my domain condition is sufficient enough to simulate this model or do i have to add more condition and parameters to do this simulation. 3. do i have to use different method for defining so2 at the inlet or just species transport model is sufficient i can provide geometry, inlet and dpm conditions if you guys needed. I did few simulation models but nothing satisfies my end results. any help is highly appreciated Tons of love Nash |
