Dear Seniors,
I am doing simulations of propeller with simpleFoam solver in openFoam for open water test case. First of all, I want to know that if i want to calculate the thrust and torque on the propeller using paraview utility of openFoam the i have to consider the whole propeller including shaft and hub or I have to divide the propeller in blades patch and hub patch and then include them separately in controlDict in forces function.
My second question is how to find thrust and drag unig paraview utility of openFoam. Your response would be appreciable.
Thanks in anticipation
