UsamaQ is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am doing CHT simulations to simulate temperature rise in a jet vane at supersonic nozzle exit. I correctly set up the domain and everything but I am surprised to see that at the exit of nozzle, the fluid temperature is around 1100K after 1 second but Jet vane is heated to 4000K which seems wrong as Initially the jet vane was at 300K. How can the temperature of vane greater than the surrounding flow temperature?

The thermal boundary condition between solid and fluid domain is coupled.

I am using Air (Ideal gas) and Graphite jet vane. The exit Mach number is around 3 in my case. I am using SST k omega model with compressibility and viscous heating effects.
