I'm using pressure based solver to simulate a hyper-sonic combustion chamber.
K-epsilon turbulence model energy equation - on species - Hydrogen-air while solving the continuity equation trend goes high with respect to no of iterations,I have tried the following methods suggested by many users in CFD forums and fluent guide too 1. reducing courant number 2. reducing URF 3. refining the mesh quality 4. changing the turbulence models 5. switching off energy equation for first 50 iterations none of the above methods solved my problem.. Boundary conditions: air inlet: u=438 m/s t=1200 k p=260000pa fuel inlet: u=1200m/s t=248 k p=460000 Last edited by raviteja gonnabathula; October 30, 2019 at 05:32. |
